Duties and Responsibilities

In the office

• Document control: Creating and managing project documents, including processing and tracking requests for information (RFIs) and submittals.

• Planning and scheduling: Assisting with the project's overall schedule and monitoring progress to ensure deadlines are met.

• Cost management: Helping to track the project budget, manage costs, process change orders, and assist with subcontractor billing.

• Reporting: Documenting and reporting on project progress to keep all stakeholders informed.

• Coordination: Organizing and documenting project meetings for owners, subcontractors, and other parties.

In the field

• Quality control: Inspecting work to ensure it complies with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.

• Safety enforcement: Collaborating with the site superintendent to implement safety protocols and conduct site inspections.

• Materials coordination: Ensuring that materials and equipment are delivered to the site on time and as specified.

• On-site problem-solving: Assisting superintendents and subcontractors with interpreting project requirements and resolving issues as they arise.

• Team support: Offering technical support and guidance to the field crew

Minimum Qualifications Required

· Graduation from an accredited four-year degree granting college or university; AND

· Four years of program/project engineer experience directly related to the position duties; OR

· An equivalent combination of education (not less than a high school diploma/GED), training and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job-related competencies noted above.
