We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian for a temporary assignment. The ideal candidate will take pride in keeping facilities clean, safe, and well maintained.
JOB SUMMARY
The Custodian is responsible for performing general cleaning and maintenance duties to ensure a safe and orderly environment. This role requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, office areas, common spaces, and other designated areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove trash on a routine schedule.
- Restock supplies such as paper products, soap, and cleaning materials.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and high-touch areas.
- Assist with light maintenance tasks as needed.
- Set up or break down rooms for meetings or events (if applicable).
- Report maintenance or safety issues promptly to management.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain equipment in good working order.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Previous custodial, cleaning, or janitorial experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 25–35 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, stretching, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
