Description
The St. Louis County Department of Transportation & Public Works is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager Supervisor to lead our road and signals projects. In this role, you will oversee project planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. You’ll collaborate with a dynamic team and engage with various stakeholders to drive project success.
The annual starting salary for this position will be between $81,848 - $98,217 and will be based on experience and qualifications. The Supervisor will work out of the Transportation & Public Works Office in Creve Coeur, Missouri.

Examples of Duties
Assist in coordinating staff availability and project schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
Aid in formulating and establishing goals, objectives, policies, plans and programs. Provide technical and specialized functional services and make recommendations for carrying them out.
Serve as the program manager in charge of scheduling, budget, resource allocation, engineering, plan production and reporting for the Road, Bridge and Signal Improvement programs.
Assists in developing requests for qualifications, selecting design consultants, and negotiating consultant contracts.
Oversee the management of data and records associated with road and signal improvement projects.
Review plans and specifications for accuracy, conformance with standards, and compliance with regulatory codes. Manage program wide quality control/quality assurance policy.
Seal plans as required for design work completed by the team.
Assist in rendering technical services to all County Departments and establish and maintain all systems and related procedures.
Serve in the Assistant Division Manager's absence.
Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Licensed as a Professional Engineer by the Missouri Board of Architects, Professional Engineers, Professional Land Surveyors and Professional Landscape Architects and seven years of related experience.
