About A & Associates
A & Associates, Inc. is an established staffing and workforce solutions company serving public- and private-sector clients. We’re growing, and we’re looking for experienced staffing professionals to join our team and grow with us. Everything we do is guided by a single standard — Quality In Everything We Do.

About the Role
This is a full-desk opportunity for a staffing professional who enjoys owning the complete cycle — business development, recruiting, client and account management, workforce management, and compliance.
You’ll develop new business and generate job orders, recruit and place strong candidates, nurture client relationships, support retention, and keep your desk running smoothly and in compliance. It’s a performance-driven role that rewards initiative, independence, and follow-through — ideal for someone who wants the room to build and the support of an established company behind them.

Please note: demonstrated staffing sales and business-development experience is required. Candidates should have real experience prospecting, developing business, generating job orders, and building client relationships. Recruiting or client-service experience alone does not meet this requirement.

What You’ll Do
Business Development & Sales
  • Prospect and develop new clients through cold calling and outbound business development.
  • Build relationships with decision-makers and generate new job orders.
  • Manage an active sales pipeline and grow existing accounts.

Recruiting & Staffing
  • Source, screen, interview, and place candidates.
  • Manage job orders and coordinate onboarding.
  • Maintain candidate pipelines and manage call-offs and replacements.

Client, Workforce & Compliance
  • Manage client relationships and resolve service issues.
  • Monitor attendance, performance, retention, and turnover.
  • Maintain accurate staffing and employee documentation.
  • Support client-specific onboarding and compliance requirements.
  • Escalate employee, safety, compliance, and client concerns appropriately.

What You Bring
  • Professional staffing-industry experience.
  • Demonstrated staffing sales / business-development experience — required.
  • Recruiting and candidate-placement experience.
  • Client and account-management experience.
  • Experience developing job orders and new business.
  • Strong communication, organization, follow-through, and relationship-management skills.
  • Ability to independently manage priorities and a full staffing desk.

Nice to Have (Preferred)
  • Full-desk staffing experience.
  • Experience with JazzHR or a comparable Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM or a comparable CRM platform.
  • Comfort using modern AI-enabled tools to improve recruiting, sourcing, sales, workflow, and overall productivity.

Who Thrives Here
Our strongest team members are self-motivated and entrepreneurial, with the grit, persistence, and resourcefulness to see things through. They bring accountability, professional maturity, a sense of urgency, and dependable follow-through to everything they do.
Success in this role is measured across new clients, job orders, placements, gross profit, retention, and compliance.

Candidate Verification
Final candidates will be asked to provide professional references. Employment history, staffing experience, sales and business-development experience, and other material job-related qualifications may be verified as permitted by applicable law.

Ready to build, perform, and grow with us? We’d love to hear from you — apply today through this posting.
